Day at Sea

Thursday was the last day sailing in the Amazon River.  Weather was sunny and hot.

We swam for one hour before breakfast and then had a light breakfast for me.  I attended the lecture which was on Devil's Island given by Terry Breen.  I had heard the lecture before but it was nice to have a refresher.

Then a light lunch and then a nap for Bob and I went to another lecture on the new ship, Explorer.  We have booked a back to back for 2017 on the ship but now we are thinking of canceling that one and doing a TransAtlantic one.  We do like transAtlantic cruises.  Very relaxing.

Today is St. Patrick's Day so the ship is decorated with green balloons and they are having a St. Patty's Party before dinner.  We are not going to that as it will be crowded.

We had needlepoint in the afternoon and I finished the little project I was working on.  I decided to do all different stitches on it and it turned out very pretty.  While we were doing needlepoint, we entered the Atlantic Ocean once again.  And then trivia where we are doing poorly.

Cocktails and then dinner in Compass Rose.

Back to the suite where we watched "Learning To Drive".  The preview of the movie made it look funny but not so much.  But we did watch the entire movie and then lights out.

I will try to upload pictures tomorrow from Santarem and post that day later.
