Today we arrive in Cartagena, Colombia. The morning is a sea day as we are scheduled to arrive at noon. Last night we gained an hour so Bob and I were up early. Even before the early breakfast was ready.
After breakfast we returned to the cabin for a bit and then headed to the lecture by Terry Breen. Today the lecture was "Cartagena de las Indias - The Fortress that could not be taken". It was very informative. I like to listen to her speak. Then we had a sail in commentary by Terry.
When we docked we realized we were right next to the old Zenith. The Zenith was owned by Celebrity Cruise Line but they sold it to Croisieres De France Line. They did not even change the name. It is still named Zenith. It looks like they have added some balconies to the ship.
We decided not to take the tour as it is so hot and we have been here before. So we had a light lunch and now Bob is napping and then we will swim.
Dinner last night in Signatures was really good. We had a nice table for two and slow service like we requested. Probably the best dinner we have had so far. I am going to see if we can dine in there several times instead of the few we are allowed. Will see.
