Well here we are again, planning another cruise around South America. We are returning to the Regent Mariner. We took this same cruise in 2013 and loved it so much, we are doing it again. This time we will do different excursions, at least that is the plan.
We will pick up a rental car and drive down to Miami on the 11th and 12th of January. We will then board the ship on the 13th of January. Last time we flew but the ship left from Ft. Lauderdale and it was very convenient but with it going out of Miami, not so much. The cruise is for 72 nights. Wow.
Because we are doing the entire cruise, we get free luggage pick up. They will be coming to the house on the 4th of January to take the luggage. Then all we have to worry about is one small carry on.
So now I have to get ready for the holidays. Liz, our oldest granddaughter, is coming down to visit us for a week before Christmas. She is a Freshman at Johnson and Wales University. This is the first time she has visited us on her own. She turned 19 earlier this month. Quite the young lady.
Then we will spend Christmas with Katie and her family. So much fun to watch the grandchildren open their presents.
